About

Holden Garcia is a passionate young musician who loves to perform. His whole life, he has enjoyed listening to music, going to shows, and dreaming of one day taking the stage. Since his first solo performance in Summer 2022, Holden has been performing regularly at open mics and other venues in the greater Plainfield and Chicagoland area, such as Black Dog Vinyl Café (Plainfield), The Forge (Joliet), Sable Creek (Romeoville), Bronkberry Farm (Plainfield), Bitter Jester Music Festival (Highland Park), and Homegrown Arts & Music Festival (Lisle).

Holden plays a variety of Americana rock cover songs from artists such as Mumford and Sons, Zac Brown Band, Nathaniel Rateliff, BoDeans, The Lumineers, Dave Matthews Band, and more, in addition to a growing list of his original songs.

The 815 is a non-profit organization that provides a unique opportunity for young musicians to perform monthly. Their goal is to teach young performers about performing, performance etiquette, working together and supporting each other as artists, as well as to challenge them as musicians.

Take me out to the ballgame for some tunes and baseball fun!  Holden will be performing outside the main gates as the crowds arrive for the Slammers home game against the Washington Wild Things.  The game starts at 6:35pm, and tickets for the game start at $7 (lawn seats).

Live at the House of Music! Listen to music spanning 5 decades including originals and hit cover songs from major artists.  The show starts with Holden Garcia opening for Blue Eyed Cicada, a young local band that is quickly making a name for themselves.

Tickets will be available online (coming soon) as well as at the door for $15.  (Seating is limited.)

Come on in and have a cup of coffee/hot cocoa or a drink with friends, and hang out and listen to music from talented artists in a chill atmosphere.  Mics and PA are provided, with a piano available onstage.

Join us for the Tuesday Indie Night in the intimate Bourbon ‘N Brass Speakeasy, located on the 2nd floor of the Des Plaines Theatre. Holden has been invited to perform and showcase his talent along with other talented musicians from Chicagoland. The intimate setting allows for a more personal connection between the audience and the performers, creating a memorable and enjoyable evening for all involved. Food and cocktails are available for purchase. Happy Hour pricing ($5 beer/$6 wine and call level cocktails). No RSVP required. (A two-drink or food equivalent minimum purchase is requested.)

The Kankakee Estival Festival is an arts and music festival focused on ORIGINAL arts from the area powered by not-for-profit organization CIRKA (Collaborative Initiative to Revive Kankakee Arts) held at the Don Palzer Bandshell in Bird Park, right in the belly of Kankakee, IL.

This free, all-ages event is a celebration of the original local musicians and artists in Kankakee County and the surrounding areas. The festival will showcase local talent of all different genres.  There will also be booths selling local art, food, drinks, and even band merchandise.
