Meet Holden

Holden Garcia grew up around music.  Although his first instrument was a drum set (and he dabbled in trombone and trumpet for a brief while), he has always loved the guitar.  Early on, he endlessly watched videos featuring his uncle on guitar and vocals as he started developing his taste in music, and eventually teaching himself to play guitar.

One fateful summer day in 2022, Holden asked to set up his guitar and mic by the sidewalk during the neighborhood garage sale while most kids would have a lemonade stand.  A neighbor heard him playing and helped get him in touch with a local art fair organizer.  A week later, he was playing his first gig for a wonderfully-supportive audience.

After the success of his first booked public appearance, Holden began working to expand his repertoire and perform at every available opportunity.  He has also become a regular fixture at local open mic nights, appeared onstage at a few community festivals and local music festivals. He has even released a few original songs that are available on all major streaming services.

Although he did have guitar lessons for a short few months that first year, Holden remains largely self-taught.
